Job summary

RCBC in the Philippines seeks a Commercial Lending professional to generate new commercial loans, grow the existing portfolio, and ensure asset quality. You will assess client credit, market bank products, and provide professional account management to meet portfolio growth and profitability targets.

The role requires strong financial analysis, knowledge of trade payments, and the ability to establish lasting client relationships while adhering to Bank policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, or Commerce. Post-graduate degree (MBA, MA) preferred.
• Knowledge of trade payments/practices, bank policies, profitability/financial analysis, and credit approval prep.
• Two years banking experience or five years in other industries.
• MS Office proficiency; marketing and presentation skills; strong oral and written communication; interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts credit evaluation of accounts, including client calls and ocular inspections.
• Recommends establishment of credit facilities in line with Bank policies and analyses client business, financial capacity, collateral, and profitability.
• Improves loan portfolio quality and maximizes return on resources.
• Solicits credit-worthy accounts by identifying target markets and marketing bank products and services with tailored financial packages.
• Develops and reviews existing credit facilities annually; strengthens relationships with prime accounts and expands deposits and collateral business.
