Job summary

Emerson Electric (Asia) Limited - ROHQ is seeking a Specialist I, Buying Planning to apply supply planning expertise across plant sites, ensuring materials arrive on time to avoid delays or stoppages. You will prepare POs, manage supplier communications, and help optimize inventory and service levels.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and about 1 year of related experience in buying, planning, S&OP, or procurement, with a solid grasp of MRP/ERP systems and data reporting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant Buying/Planning/S&OP/Procurement experience with data manipulation and reporting.
• Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems and basic supply chain concepts.
• Familiarity with data interpretation and gap analysis in a supply chain context.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and manage supplier acknowledgments.
• Expedite purchase orders and communicate delivery information to affected departments.
• Manage material shortages, short shipments, and buy lists.
• Analyze invoice discrepancies and communicate resolutions per standard processes.
• Resolve Quality and Non-Conformance Material Reports.
• Participate in material requirements planning reviews and S&OP discussions.
• Provide insights and validate recommended solutions with stakeholders.
