Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Specialist I, Buying Planning in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. The role focuses on ensuring timely delivery of materials through proactive planning, procurement, and supplier collaboration to support factory operations.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of buying/planning experience, with familiarity in MRP/ERP systems and data reporting. This on-site role offers growth in a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related fields.
1 year of Buying, Planning, S&OP, Procurement and reporting experience.
Basic understanding of Supply Chain systems (MRP, ERP).
Knowledge of SCM concepts, data manipulation and interpretation, and gap analysis.

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue purchase orders and manage supplier acknowledgments.
Expedite purchase orders and communicate delivery information to affected departments.
Manage material shortages, short shipments, and buy lists.
Analyze invoice discrepancies and communicate resolutions per standard processes.
Resolve Quality and Non-Conformance Material Reports.
Participate in reviews of material requirements planning, shortages, inventory reduction, and service levels.
Provide insights and validate solutions with collaborators to address business questions.
