Job summary

Minebea Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Staff (Buyer) to support our purchasing and material procurement activities.

You will issue POs, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure materials arrive on time and to required quality standards, helping production continuity by coordinating with suppliers and internal departments. The role emphasizes maintaining accurate purchasing records, supplier performance review, and timely follow-ups on delays.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of purchasing/procurement or related experience.
• Graduate of a 4-year Business, Engineering, or related degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requirements
• Prepare and monitor delivery plans to ensure materials are delivered according to schedule
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules
• Monitor the quality of materials received from suppliers and address any delivery or quality concerns
• Monitor the status of ordered materials and provide updates on pending and delivered items
• Follow up with suppliers regarding delayed deliveries, material shortages, and other purchasing concerns
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure material requirements are fulfilled on time
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
