Job summary

WSP in Manila seeks an Associates Director/Associate to lead mechanical, electrical, hydraulics or fire protection services within Building Services Operations. The role focuses on strategic office development, staff mentoring, and high-level design contributions across multi-disciplinary projects.

The candidate should bring 12–15+ years of experience and strong knowledge of international codes, BIM coordination, and safety in design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 12–15+ years' experience in engineering consultancy or construction.
• Proven technical expertise across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards or international codes of practice.
• Basic use of BIM software and ability to review models.
• Awareness of BIM interdisciplinary coordination.
• Strong focus on safety in design practices and processes.
• Experience in preparing reports and leading large projects.
• Ability to lead multidiscipline teams and manage project scope.
• Proven client relationship development and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of the office against strategic goals.
• Mentor staff performance and development.
• Assist in 3-year strategic plans for the office.
• Analyse financial and non-financial performance of the office.
• Provide high-level, innovative design contributions to projects.
• Represent and develop the business with the local market.
• Participate in industry organizations and IQBE initiatives.
• Oversee offers and contracts within delegated authority.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
