Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking a high‑level engineering leader to oversee the design, development and production of electrical systems for buildings, including ventilation, air conditioning and fire protection. The role covers projects from conception to completion with a strong focus on meeting regional and national regulations and client needs.

You will lead the office’s strategic goals, mentor staff, manage multi‑project scopes, and drive proposals while embedding safety in design and digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Professional chartership/registration within jurisdiction.
• Typically 10-12 years’ experience.
• Experience with local and international standards, including Australian Code.
• Mentors others and has strong design and project leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in pricing, contract management and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the office against defined strategic goals.
• Mentor staff and lead performance appraisals.
• Develop 3-year strategic plans for the office, including market and people.
• Analyse financial and non-financial performance of the office.
• Oversee design and coordination of electrical systems for buildings.
• Lead proposals and pursuits; manage contracts and project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with lead countries and external stakeholders.
