Job summary

Sasonbi Inc. is seeking a Billing and Collection Specialist to support the Finance team in the Philippines. You will prepare accurate invoices, monitor receivables, and coordinate with project and operations staff to ensure timely billing and proper documentation.

Key duties include maintaining accounts receivable aging, following up on overdue payments, reconciling payments, and generating regular reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, accounting, or related position.
• Experience in construction, engineering, solar, or project-based companies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, and basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using QuickBooks or other accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organized and able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Strong follow-up, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Billing documents: Prepare invoices, billing statements, and supporting documents.
• Review invoices against contracts, POs, delivery receipts before processing.
• Ensure billing follows terms, milestones, and company policies.
• Coordinate with Project/Operations on billable items and milestones.
• Monitor billing schedules and ensure timely submissions.
• Address billing discrepancies with relevant departments.
• Monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances.
• Follow up on overdue invoices via email/phone.
• Maintain an updated AR aging report and reconcile balances.
• Coordinate with customers on remittance details and documents.
• Escalate long-overdue accounts to Finance Manager when needed.
• Maintain relationships while ensuring timely collection.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and correspondence.
• Prepare reports for management and financial monitoring.
