Job summary

Medicare Plus Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a detail‑oriented Billing Specialist to prepare, review, and issue accurate statements, invoices, and supporting documents.

You will monitor accounts receivable, maintain aging reports, and follow up with customers and branches on outstanding balances. The role requires proficiency in Excel, strong numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve billing issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Relevant experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections is required.
• Proficient in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, reports, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue accurate billing statements, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Monitor accounts receivable and maintain an updated aging report.
• Follow up with customers, clients, branches, or concerned departments regarding outstanding balances.
• Record and validate customer payments, deposits, and other collection transactions.
• Reconcile billing records against payments received and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Retail, and other departments to resolve billing and collection concerns.
• Maintain complete and organized billing, collection, and payment documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing and collection reports.
• Develop Excel-based trackers, summaries, statistics, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Monitor overdue accounts and escalate significant collection issues to the Finance and Accounting Manager.
• Assist in preparing collection forecasts and cash-flow information.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries regarding invoices, balances, and payments.
• Support internal and external audits by providing the required billing and collection documents.
• Recommend improvements to billing and collection processes.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
