Job summary

Tenable Fire Engineering Consultancy is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. The role focuses on maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate reporting to drive informed decisions.

You will handle month-end close, bank reconciliations, and support audits while collaborating with other departments to improve processes and efficiency. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience and a relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA certification or equivalent is desirable.
• 2–3 years of financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear communication and ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including journal entries and ledgers.
• Perform month-end and year-end close procedures with reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements in line with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts for business planning.
• Support external audits with documentations and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized records and filing system.
• Collaborate with departments to gather financial information.
