Wavemaker Partners is seeking a Communications Associate to work with the Communications team on content, media relations, events, and portfolio support. You will help ensure consistent execution across channels and lead select initiatives with a focus on quality and impact.

The role requires 3–4 years in journalism, PR, marketing or related fields, strong writing, and a proactive, collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in journalism, PR, marketing or related field.
• Strong writing and communications skills with high-quality output.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity about VC, startups and emerging tech trends.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Channels Management: publish content across channels, manage newsletters, SEO and website.
• Public & Media Relations: assist with media relations, drafts and distributes press materials, tracks coverage.
• Events: assist in planning and executing events and media engagements.
• Project Ownership & Performance Tracking: lead initiatives end-to-end and report results.
