The role requires initiative, ownership of edits through final delivery, and the ability to tailor content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube while preserving message and pace.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated video editing experience with portfolio.
• Ability to develop narratives from raw footage.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or Resolve and basic sound/color skills.

Responsibilities

• Review the brief and footage to identify the strongest story and opening, sequence, ending.
• Contribute original concepts, scripts, and editing treatments for planning.
• Edit videos for social media: interviews, event stories, explainers, client features.
• Use dialogue, footage, music, and sound to develop the narrative and pace.
• Prepare subtitles, on-screen copy, titles, and basic motion graphics; color correct.
• Adapt videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube; suggest lengths and cuts.
• Collaborate with content producer before/after shoots to resolve gaps.
• Present edits with rationale; coordinate final versions with producer and PM.
• Review performance with the team and improve storytelling based on data.
• Check details, organize files, and deliver assets to publishing owner.
