Job summary

STARBREAKER CORP is seeking a Restaurant/Store Supervisor to lead daily operations in our Taytay Rizal locations. The role focuses on coaching Baristas, maintaining service quality, and ensuring safe, compliant store operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years supervising in F&B, a Barista background is a plus, and the ability to work flexible hours across multiple sites. This position requires strong data interpretation and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of actual experience as a supervisor in a restaurant, coffee shop, or similar F&B setting.
• Barista experience is a plus and related certificate is advantageous.
• Willing to work flexible operational hours and oversee multiple stores/locations.
• Able to structure and analyze quantitative or qualitative data to draw insights.
• Willing to be assigned to Taytay Rizal branches.

Responsibilities

• Identifies Barista performance challenges and coaches performance for continuous improvement.
• Supervises barista service with friendly, individualized attention and educates customers on beverages and food items.
• Trains and oversees Baristas to ensure products are prepared to standard and in a timely manner.
• Ensures welfare, safety, and security of employees and store operations.
• Manages staff schedules to meet manpower requirements across shifts and locations.
• Coordinates with team leaders to balance schedules and staff movements.
• Oversees cashiering, fund management, deposits, and sales reporting per policies.
• Maintains product expertise and ensures coffee preparation follows approved standards.
• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of food and beverage operations and equipment.
• Keeps workspace and cart/store in good condition and coordinates repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Implements company policies, procedures, and any revisions.
• Facilitates investigations related to employees or store conditions when needed.
• Manages reporting on employee benefits and timekeeping documents.
• Aids marketing promotions or store events and educates staff accordingly.

Job description

1. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identifies Barista performance challenges, provides assistance, coaches their performance, monitors the progress of skillset, and capability for continuous improvement on the job.
2. Supervises Barista to ensure that serving of all products is with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. Educates customers about all/premium beverage and food items.
3. Trains and oversees Baristas and ensures that products are prepared by them according to the approved made and processed in a timely manner to meet the speed and demand of the market and or customers.
4. Ensures welfare, safety, and security of employees, location, and store operation in general.
5. Manages staff schedules to meet the required manpower in various shifts and activities of his assigned store/s.
6. Coordinates with Team Leaders or Supervisors to balance manpower schedules and implement necessary staff movements.
7. Oversees cashiering and operational fund management; ensures that standard fund/amount is available in a timely manner. Administers bank deposits and sales reporting according to policies and procedures.
8. Maintains product expertise and prepares coffee mixture according to the approved made and process.
9. Manages and implements cleanliness, sanitation, and overall food and beverage safety, functioning equipment, and supplies available for efficient operation of the store.
10. Keeps workspace, and cart/store in its best condition. Coordinates all necessary repairs, refurbishing, and or maintenance jobs to ensure the overall look, and store/brand are according to approved identity.
11. Implements company policies, procedures, and protocols and any others that the company may introduce or revise from time to time.
12. Facilitates incident investigations involving employees or the general condition of the store, and its operation in relation with the lessor.
13. Administers the reporting requirements on employee benefits or Timekeeping related documents - Daily Time Records, pay slips, uniforms, etc.
14. Aids marketing promotions or store events and educate his staff accordingly.

2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• With at least three (1) years actual experience as a supervisor in a restaurant, coffee shop, or equivalent experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Barista a plus, with an equivalent certificate course in food and beverage service, an advantage.
• Amenable to working on flexible operational, extended hours – as needed, and overseeing different stores/locations.
• Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it.
• Willing to be assigned in Taytay Rizal branches
