Job summary

SM Home in the Philippines is seeking a Store Manager to execute, administer, organize, and direct selling activities and personnel to reach goals.

Reporting to Senior Manager, Operations, you will drive strategies to meet sales targets, manage OPEX, and ensure profitability through effective staff training and inventory control.

Areas of focus include maintaining item availability, reducing losses, and improving overall store performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of management experience in retail.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategies to meet/exceed sales targets.
• Observe implementation of measures to control OPEX.
• Ensure reduction of merchandise losses and improve profitability.
• Ensure availability of items at all times, including basic never-out items.
• Provide effective training for staff to improve performance and productivity.
• Ensure measures to reduce operational problems are implemented.

Key Accountabilities:

• Execute strategies to meet/ exceed sales target
• Observe implementation of measures and approaches to control OPEX
• Ensures execution of measures to reduce merchandise losses and improve profitability
• Ensure availability of items at all times such as, “Basic never out items”
• Ensures execution and efficiency of appropriate training for staff that will improve performance and increase productivity.
• Ensures that the established measures to reduce operational problems are put in effect
