As a key leader, you are responsible for maintaining compliance, managing financial outcomes, and creating a positive work culture that aligns with the organization’s strategic goals. You lead by example, balancing day‑to‑day priorities with long‑term growth and development.
Experience and Expertise
- Store Managers are skilled in motivating, developing and leading large teams while maintaining a strong focus on values, behaviours and effective communication.
- Leading with a proactive and solutions focused mindset with the ability to think strategically, interpret data and respond swiftly to changing business and customer demands.
- Have a proven ability to build strong relationships at all levels, managing expectations and collaborating effectively as a team player.
- Strong attention to detail, supported by excellent planning skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks while maintaining store productivity and efficiency.
- Remain composed under pressure, able to adapt to challenging situations and maintain a high level of self‑control.

Technical Ability
- Excel in data‑driven decision‑making by utilising analytical tools (Power BI, Excel) to forecast sales, manage budgets and optimise store performance.

- Demonstrate solid commercial acumen, including financial analysis, store budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.

- Coach and develop leadership teams to accelerate team capability and engagement.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with DOLE and workplace agreements, meeting all legislative requirements.
- Oversee store safety programmes, driving a “safety first” culture across all parts of your store.
- Oversee Profit Prevention store activities to minimise loss through excellent execution of store processes.
- Lead and manage incident reporting and incident management including investigations, injury management and supporting injured team member recovery.
- Manage emergency response procedures and ensure all team members are trained and understand safety protocols.
Financial Performance & Productivity
- Monitor and achieve key performance metrics to drive store profitability and productivity.
- Use tools like the pace tool to track and improve team efficiency and performance.
- Maintain budget controls, ensuring expenditure aligns with store and REM goals.
- Implement and execute store processes to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
- Utilise financial insights to guide strategic decisions that enhance operational productivity and improve overall profitability.
