We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager - Inventory (In-store Stock Management, Graveyard) to lead team members to deliver a high standard of customer experience through effective store merchandising, replenishment and customer service. You are to ensure a safe and compliant store through execution of store processes and leadership of team members. You are expected to be a process leader and executors in our stores. You will navigate complex environments and implement business initiatives, ensuring the store operates smoothly and delivers strong outcomes.

This position is part of the Store Management Team and requires full-time onsite presence.

Work Location: Evo City, Kawit, Cavite

Experience and Expertise:

As the Assistant Store Manager - Inventory of Anko in the Philippines, you will:

  • Lead and support inventory processes (receiving, decant, backfill) across the store, to maximise

on show availability and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Build team capability through coaching and training
  • Implement and maintain BOH 5S standards to optimise space and minimise handling times.
  • Understanding of data analysis tools (Excel) to track performance and support decision making and planning
  • Skilled in managing extreme volume inventory environments through retail specific tools
  • Experience in rostering and workforce planning to support inventory operations.
  • Recruit, train and multi-skill team members to meet operational needs.
  • Build a high-performing team culture through regular coaching and feedback.
  • Roster team members effectively to balance productivity with store budget requirements.
  • Promote an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued and respected
  • Enable ongoing learning and growth through frequent, constructive feedback
Safety, Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure all inventory processes comply with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Use reporting and KPIs to monitor and improve daily operations.
  • Address process breakdowns promptly, adjusting workflows or escalating where required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
  • Lead safety initiatives and promote a strong "safety-first" culture.
  • Manage incident recovery programs and compliance training.
  • Oversee store safety protocols.
  • Ensure all team members meet required safety and compliance standards while under supervision.
Customer Experience & Service
  • Collaborate with store leaders to optimise product placement and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Support in-store visual merchandising and stock presentation standards.
Training & Development
  • Use Anko training documents to guide capability building and role-specific skill development.
  • Promote continuous learning and improvement through coaching and structured feedback.
  • Actively develop team members through day-to-day activities, development programs and on-the-job coaching.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in in-store stock management, daily store operations and store set-up preferably in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Willing to work onsite, full‑time, and on a permanent graveyard shift schedule.
  • You demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a safety-first environment, consistently leading with safety top of mind and actively encouraging others to do the same.
  • Store Inventory Managers lead and support inventory processes (receiving, decant, sequence) across the store, to maximize on show availability and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build team capability through coaching, training and effective recruitment selection.
  • Maintain back of house 5S standards to optimize workflows, reduce handling times and enhance stock accuracy.
  • Roster inventory team to meet workload demands, balancing productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Understanding data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Pace Tool, DC Reporting) to track performance and support decision making and planning.
  • Skilled in managing extreme volume inventory environments through retail specific tools.
  • Experience in rostering and workforce planning to support inventory operations.
  • You are detail oriented and organized with a strong approach to tracking inventory metrics and maintaining stock inventory.
  • You are a proactive problem solver, able to quickly identify and address stock discrepancies, inventory shrinkage and process inefficiencies.
  • You are adaptable and a strategic thinker, adjusting inventory strategies based on sales patterns, seasonal trends and unexpected demands.
  • You are an effective team leader, motivating and guiding inventory teams while maintaining a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence.
