Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Manila is seeking a dedicated Steward to direct and assist kitchen staff, ensure proper cleaning, and maintain water and chemical levels for cleaning operations. The role includes supporting banquet plate-ups and maintaining hygiene standards.

You will help with stocking, move items up to 50 pounds, operate cleaning equipment, and uphold safety and security policies while providing professional guest service. This is a full-time position at our Manila location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist stewards to improve efficiency of cleanup.
• Ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate and documented.
• Assist with banquet plate-ups and support banquet and buffet operations.
• Move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds; stand for extended periods.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and report safety issues.
