Job summary

F.I.R. INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CORP is seeking an QA/QC inspector to monitor welding preparation, inspect raw materials, and verify NDT results. You will ensure dimensional accuracy and conformity to submittals in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires attention to mill certificates and IRNs, with hands-on inspection of welds and coordination with NDT teams to ensure quality standards are met on site in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC in manufacturing or welding environments.
• Familiarity with MTC and IRN documents.
• Ability to interpret drawings and dimensional checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fit-ups, grating alignment, and dimensional accuracy prior to welding.
• Inspect incoming raw materials (plates, I-beams) against mill certificates and IRN.
• Conduct visual weld inspections and coordinate/verify NDT results (ultrasonic, radiographic).

Job Description:

• Monitor structural fit-ups, grating alignment, kick-plate/ladder/handrail installation, and dimensional accuracy prior to welding.
• Inspect incoming raw materials (plates, I-beams), cross-referencing mill certificates (MTC) and Inspection Release Notes (IRN) to ensure they match approved submittals.
• Conduct visual weld inspections and coordinate or verify Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) results (e.g., ultrasonic, radiographic testing).
