We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to build future proof next generation Q2C platforms and manage solution design for the GTMA Contract Lifecycle team and sit under the GTM Solution Architecture and Design team. This role sits at the intersection of Solution architect, User Journey mapping, Data Mapping, Integration Patterns, Salesforce platform administration and GTM technology operations.
The ideal candidate combines strong business process expertise with technical depth in Salesforce and enterprise GTM ecosystems, while also driving operational excellence, scalable governance, system analysis, platform health and compliance readiness across Quote-to-Cash workflows.
This leader will partner closely with the Sales Operations, GTMA Systems, GTMA Product team, Twilio Engineering team, Integration engineering team, Zuora and MDM teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and program managers to architect and manage solutions within Salesforce as well as adjacent technologies for the Contract lifecycle management team.
- Develop and maintain a holistic view of CRM-based processes and user personas to ensure your projects are compatible with upstream and downstream systems and processes.
- Communicate regularly with a diverse group of stakeholders with different priorities and levels of technical acumen.
- Lead projects end to end to improve the way our Go-To-Market and internal teams track and manage CPQ/CLM product, in partnership with the product owner and product manager.
- Work with Product Managers to architect and implement solutions within Salesforce. Your work will include (but not be limited to) architecting automation and system behavior using Lightning Components, Apex, and Flow ensuring scalability, system health, and end user personas/experience.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions from a diverse group of stakeholders with varying priorities and levels of technical acumen.
- Provide ongoing roadmap design and ownership in combination with the product owner and product manager.
- Be an advocate for technology best practices and be a stakeholder representing technology.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Salesforce Application Architect Experience: 10 years of extensive experience with Salesforce and Order-to-Cash implementations.
- CLM Tool Expertise: 5+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale automation within a CLM and e-signature tool (preferably Conga + DocuSign) inside the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Advanced Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Salesforce declarative automation, Conga X-Author, document templates, and DocuSign APIs.
- Strong Communication & Documentation: Demonstrated ability to capture thinking, recommendations, and process mappings in clear, highly detailed documentation.
- Influence & Assertiveness: Proven track record of operating as a strategic partner who can constructively challenge stakeholders and leadership in the interest of system scalability and long-term sustainability.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly analytical with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to think strategically and translate complex or ambiguous concepts into actionable plans.
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce B2B Solution Architect, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Developer I certifications. (Salesforce Application/System Architect or Developer certifications are highly preferred).
- Large Scale Operations: Experience designing and building within Salesforce for a massive user base (2,000+ users).
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and integration middleware like Mulesoft, Workato or Tray.io.
Location
This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.
Travel
May be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.

Compensation
Pay ranges by location:
- Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C.: $128,560 - $160,700.
- New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $136,000 - $170,000.
- San Francisco Bay area, California: $151,120 - $188,900.
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. Benefits include health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
