Job summary

ams OSRAM's LSP unit seeks an experienced engineer to oversee wafer sort equipment, ensuring high yield and reliability across TEL Precio, TEL WDF 12DP+ and EG4090 probes.

You will set up, calibrate, inspect, and repair systems; analyze performance data; implement preventive maintenance; document procedures; and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or equivalent with extensive wafer sort equipment experience.
• Experience with TEL Precio, TEL WDF 12DP+ and EG4090 probes is required.
• Effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of wafer sort equipment operation, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Proficient in analyzing equipment performance data and implementing improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with probe technologies.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain wafer sort equipment, focusing on TEL WDF 12DP+, TEL Precio, and EG4090 probes.
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with vendors to source spare parts and ensure timely repairs; stay updated with best practices.
• Calibrate wafer sort equipment to ensure accurate measurements and optimize performance.
• Analyze data and test results to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Work with other support teams to implement equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Investigate complex issues and provide guidance to operators and technicians.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including manuals and SOPs.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent related field with Extensive experience in wafer sort equipment management, specifically with TEL Precio, TEL WDF 12DP+ and EG4090 probes
