Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Application Developer in Metro Manila to grow a career building enterprise-grade product and asset management platforms. You will contribute to Python FastAPI backend services, React front-end interfaces, and REST API integrations for Emerson's global product information ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of software development experience with hands-on delivery in Python and React.
• Proficiency in building REST API services using FastAPI, including endpoint definition, Pydantic models, request/response handling, and basic async patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python FastAPI backend services for MyAssets, FDDH, and product documentation platforms.
• Develop and maintain React front-end components, including state management and responsive UI.
• Write and maintain PostgreSQL queries, support schema updates, and assist with data migrations.
• Assist with REST API integrations to third-party documentation platforms (Zoomin and similar).
• Apply SDLC practices, develop, test, and support production releases across the portfolio.
• Debug and resolve issues across FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and React layers with clear analysis.
• Write clean, well-documented, reusable code and participate in code reviews; maintain feature docs and test cases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and System Analysts to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD delivery using Azure DevOps.
