Job summary

Nagarro in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Data/Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud solutions using BigQuery, PySpark, Python, and Airflow. You will work across GCP services, containers, and CI/CD practices to deliver robust data platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5.5+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and serverless GCP services

Qualifications

• 5.5+ years in data, cloud, or big data engineering.
• Deep hands-on with BigQuery, Python, SQL, PySpark, and GCP basics.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Airflow for data workflows.
• CI/CD experience with GitLab or similar tools; IaC with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data and cloud solutions on GCP.
• Develop data workflows with Airflow and optimize queries.
• Build cloud-native apps using Cloud Functions and Cloud Run.
• Create scalable APIs with Python frameworks and containerize with Docker.
• Implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and secure cloud networking.
