• CPA with at least 5 years of accounting experience; law or consulting firm background preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• US GAAP and MS Office proficiency; Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
• Advanced analytical abilities, precise attention to detail, strong time management under tight deadlines, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet, bank, and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries and financial analyses.
• Assist with the monthly close process and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Support other accounting areas and projects as needed.

Role Overview

The Staff Accountant plays a key role on the finance team by executing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and researching variances, and preparing necessary correcting journal entries. • Assist with the monthly close process and ensure GAAP compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Must be a CPA with at least 5 years of accounting experience; law or consulting firm background preferred.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.

• Technical: Strong command of US GAAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
