SciTec is seeking a Sr Staff/Senior Software Engineer to support Missile Defense Solution software in an operational setting. You will handle end-to-end software processing of OPIR sensor data, focusing on on-site customer support, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of software engineering, strong Linux experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

SciTec is seeking a Sr Staff/Senior Software Engineer to support programs delivering Missile Defense Solution software in an operational setting. You will work within a fast-paced environment on a team supporting end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. This is a key role that focuses on customer-facing onsite support and system optimization, keeping systems running, troubleshooting issues, and reporting software defects.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, experienced software engineer that excels in an onsite, customer-facing role, as an adept software system troubleshooter and solution provider.

The pay range for this position is $127,00–$193,000/ year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
