Job summary

Capgemini Mexico is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable back-end systems using C# and .NET Core. You will work on cloud-native architectures, RESTful APIs, and event-driven patterns in an Agile environment.

Your Role

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance distributed systems that power critical business capabilities. You will leverage modern .NET technologies, cloud-native architectures, and event-driven patterns to deliver resilient solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. This role requires a strong engineering mindset, technical leadership, and a passion for building secure, reliable, and maintainable software.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using C# and .NET Core
• Build scalable and highly available cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure and AWS services
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, asynchronous integrations, and event-driven architectures
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, JWT, HMAC, and industry best practices
• Design resilient systems incorporating fault tolerance, circuit breakers, retry patterns, monitoring, and observability
• Develop and support serverless solutions using Azure Functions and AWS Lambda
• Integrate applications through message brokers, webhooks, and asynchronous communication patterns
• Apply SOLID principles, dependency injection, and object-oriented design practices to create maintainable solutions
• Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment processes across multiple environments
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performanceCollaborate with Product Owners, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Participate in on-call support rotations to monitor production environments and ensure platform stability and business continuity

Your Profile

• 8+ years of experience in backend software development using C# and .NET Core
• Strong expertise in multithreading, asynchronous programming, parallel processing, and concurrency models
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms and serverless technologies, including Azure Functions and AWS Lambda
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with experience working in Agile delivery environments
