Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in construction planning with supervisory experience, and strong proficiency in MS Project/Primavera P6, CPM, and risk analysis.

About the role

We are seeking a Sr. Planning Supervisor to join our dynamic construction planning and scheduling team at DM Consunji, Inc. This full-time position is based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, and represents a strategic opportunity to lead and optimise planning operations across our project portfolio. As Sr. Planning Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring project schedules are developed, maintained, and executed efficiently, whilst supporting project teams in meeting deadlines and delivering quality outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to influence project success through strategic planning and proactive schedule management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning software and methodologies
• Supervise and coordinate planning activities across multiple construction projects, ensuring schedules align with project objectives and client requirements
• Conduct regular schedule reviews and variance analysis to identify risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and trade contractors to establish realistic timelines and resource allocation plans
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and prepare progress reports for senior management and clients
• Identify and implement schedule optimisation strategies to improve productivity and reduce project duration where feasible
• Manage schedule-related documentation, including baseline schedules, updated schedules, and schedule narratives
• Provide training and guidance to junior planning staff and project teams on scheduling best practices and planning tools
• Conduct critical path analysis and prepare contingency plans to mitigate scheduling risks
• Ensure compliance with contractual schedule requirements and coordinate with stakeholders on schedule changes and impacts

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years' professional experience in construction planning and scheduling, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Proficiency with planning software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling tools
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery systems, and contract requirements
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing project schedules for large, complex construction projects
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify scheduling conflicts and develop practical solutions
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams
• Leadership capability and experience mentoring and supervising planning staff
• Knowledge of critical path method (CPM), resource levelling, and schedule risk analysis
• Familiarity with Philippine construction practices and local regulatory requirements is advantageous
