Senior Java QA Automation Engineer

Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a QA Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated and manual tests to ensure product quality. You will work with QA and development teams to understand end-to-end functionality, define automated test suites, and triage results.

Strong Java and OOP skills, REST API testing, and QA automation experience are required. ISTQB certification and experience with Jira/Confluence are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in CS, EE, or EC Engineering.
• ISTQB Certification is a plus.
• Experience programming in Java and strong OOP knowledge.
• Experience with QA Automation and testing concepts (functional/non-functional).
• Familiarity with REST API testing and test tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain automated test suites for new and modified functionality.
• Work with QA and development teams to understand end-to-end system functionality.
• Execute automated tests and triage results with QA/system teams.
• Set and review script quality standards and practices.
• Perform automated demos and walkthroughs of test scripts with team members.
• Identify quality issues and elevate them to management as needed.
