Aufgaben

• Govern external payroll providers to meet all SLAs.
• Map and test PeopleSoft HRMS interfaces with vendors.
• Standardize SOPs for in-house vs vendor tasks.
• Oversee full and final settlements incl. severance and gratuity.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to prepare monthly payroll for timely salary disbursements.
• Design and manage payroll helpdesk system.
• Set and enforce KPIs for query turnaround.
• Act as final escalation point for executive queries.
• Conduct tax planning education campaigns for employees.
• Ensure compliance for PF, ESIC, PT, LWF.
• Manage monthly TDS, quarterly 24Q, annual Form 16.
• Represent the company in regulatory audits.
• Coordinate data changes with Corporate HR on payroll.
• Coordinate payroll systems with vendors and employees to resolve queries.
• Support payroll and F&F audits.
• Document processes for knowledge transfer to new recruits.
• Manage end-to-end payroll and ad-hoc reports.
• Drive payroll automation and process improvements.

Role Purpose

Payroll processing and full & final settlement

Key Accountability

• Governance of external payroll service providers,ensuring 100% adherence to contractual SLAs.
• Map and boundary-test interface integrations between PeopleSoft HRMS and vendorcalculation engines.
• Standardizestandard operating procedures (SOPs) split between in-house execution andvendor tasks.
• Overseefull and final (F&F) settlements, managing severances, gratuity, and noticebuyouts.
• Liaisewith all internal & external stakeholders in preparing month-on-monthpayroll for the company, hence ensuring timely & accurate salarydisbursements to all working employees.
• Design,launch, and manage the internal payroll ticketing helpdesk system.
• Setand enforce strict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for query turnaround time(TAT).
• Serveas the final tier-3 escalation point for sensitive, high-impact executive queryresolution.
• Driveproactive employee education campaigns regarding tax planning, regimes, andyear-end submissions.
• Commandtotal compliance across Provident Fund (PF), ESIC, Professional Tax (PT), andLWF.
• Directmonthly TDS deductions, quarterly Form 24Q submissions, and annual Form 16configurations.
• Representthe organization as the primary subject matter expert during regulatorygovernment audits.

Payroll Team’s Responsibilities

• Coordinatewith the Corporate HR team on employee data changes and benefits as recorded inthe HR Information system from time to time.
• Liaisebetween internal payroll systems, external payroll vendors & employees toprovide full support in resolving all important queries on time
• Supportall audits on payroll/F&F related matters.
• Documentall processes stringently & deliberately, setting a high bar for Payrolland F&F operations management & efficient knowledge transfer to newrecruits if any.
• Managethe payroll process end to end, often reporting to the Finance & ensuringall data requests are met with, as also any ad-hoc reports upon businessrequirements.
• Driveautomation projects, identify area of improvement and make amendments to ensureseamless process flow

Educational Qualification

Any Graduate / Postgraduate (Preferred major in Human Resources and Minor inFinance)

Knowledge of Income tax and Labour law would be anadditional advantage
