Job summary

Octal Philippines Inc. seeks a Senior Program Manager to oversee large, complex transformation programs in collaboration with functional leads and vendor project managers.

You will help resolve roadblocks, implement dashboards, and monitor progress and vendor performance to ensure on-time delivery aligned with program objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience with project risk assessment, metrics generation and analysis.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Proficient in stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and familiar with Jira/Confluence.
• Strong execution and operational excellence in managing large programs with analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Proven track record of project management in large organizations with IT or agile development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with functional workstream leads and vendor PMs to manage large transformation programs.
• Assist workstreams in resolving roadblocks and drive problem solving.
• Implement program dashboards and progress monitoring for status reporting.
• Assess vendor performance and ensure alignment with program objectives and scope.
• Build trust-based relationships with fellow program managers and SMEs.

Job description

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the management and monitoring of large, complex transformation projects in collaboration with different Functional Workstream Leads and vendor Project Managers. He/she assists the Workstream Leads in resolving roadblocks and problem solving and ensures the implementation of project dashboards, progress monitoring and vendor performance assessment to ensure successful program delivery of hospital-wide transformation programs aligned with its objectives and scope.

Requirements

• Experience with project risk assessment, metrics generation, and analysis, preferably with PMP certification.
• Proficient in stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and familiar with software development platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong execution and operational excellence skills in managing large programs, with exceptional analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Proven track record of successful project management in larger organizations with focus on IT projects or agile development
• Demonstrated track record of building trust-based counselling relationships fellow program managers, Subject matter experts
• Demonstrates excellent observation, negotiation, decision-making, and leadership skills in a high paced transformation environment.
• Possesses a strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and ability to work under pressure with a positive, self-motivated attitude.
