Job summary

OpenText, The Information Company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to support our Worldwide Renewals organization. You will partner with business leaders to forecast, plan and analyze performance across regions, delivering insights that drive strategic decisions.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, experience in FP&A or accounting, advanced Excel, and familiarity with SAP or similar tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Solid budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and P&L management.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, and modeling.
• Experience with SAP, Business Objects, OLAP or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reviews.
• Prepare and communicate monthly and quarterly financial results, forecasts, and insights.
• Analyze financial performance and explain variances against plans and forecasts.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve results.
• Act as SME for deal value calculations and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Accounting, Billing, HR, Sales, and Professional Services.
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and improve reporting and planning processes.

What It Takes

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and working with cross‑functional teams across multiple regions.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and P&L management.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, and financial modeling.
• Experience with financial systems and reporting tools such as SAP, Business Objects, OLAP, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, strong business partnership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to work US business hours/night shift.
