Genesys Manila is seeking a Sr. Analyst for Finance Operations Excellence in Finance Shared Services. The role partners with FSSC teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and supports finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Sr. Analyst is an integral member of the Finance Operations Excellence Team and serves as the bridge between FSSC teams and Digital Solutioning. The role partners with FSSC teams to understand business problems, analyze processes and requirements, and translate business needs into clear functional requirements that enable the design and delivery of effective solutions.

The role supports Finance transformation and operational excellence initiatives from requirements definition through testing and implementation, ensuring that solutions address the intended business need and deliver measurable improvements to FSSC operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with FSSC leaders and team members to understand business problems, pain points, opportunities, and desired outcomes.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering discussions and translate business needs into clear, complete, and actionable functional requirements for Digital Solutioning.
• Analyze current-state processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and support the definition of future-state processes and requirements.
• Challenge and clarify business requirements to ensure that proposed solutions address the underlying problem rather than simply replicating existing processes.
• Develop business requirements, process maps, workflows, SOPs, acceptance criteria, and other supporting documentation required for solution development and implementation.
• Serve as the primary liaison between FSSC and Digital Solutioning throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring requirements and business expectations are clearly understood.
• Partner with Digital Solutioning during solution design and development to clarify requirements, assess changes, and ensure continued alignment with the intended business outcome.
• Coordinate and support business validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including development of test scenarios, tracking of issues, and confirmation that delivered solutions meet agreed requirements.
• Perform data analysis and develop reports or insights as needed to support requirements analysis, business cases, decision-making, and measurement of solution outcomes.
• Assist the Sr. Manager, Operations Excellence, with project coordination, stakeholder alignment, change management, communications, and implementation activities across assigned FSSC and global initiatives.
• Maintain close collaboration across FSSC to ensure alignment and support a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and adaptability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills Required And Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, Finance transformation, operational excellence, project delivery, shared services, or a related discipline.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional requirements.
• Experience with process mapping, workflow documentation, SOP development, and requirements documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, data analytics, reporting platforms, and digital/automation tools.
• Experience supporting testing and UAT, including test scenario development, issue tracking, and business validation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within agreed timelines in a changing business environment.
• BPO/Shared Services Center experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis, or Project Management certification is an advantage but not required.
