RELX International is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD solutions for global engineering teams. We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to help design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD solutions supporting global engineering teams.

This role focuses on AWS, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You'll work closely with engineering teams to modernize CI/CD pipelines, develop automation solutions, improve observability, and support secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery across cloud environments.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on building and automating cloud infrastructure, partnering with engineering teams and stakeholders on project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
• Develop and support Jenkins shared libraries, pipeline templates, and reusable deployment patterns
• Modernize legacy pipelines and implement standardized CI/CD approaches
• Build and support Python-based tooling, packages, and automation solutions
• Integrate security, quality, and compliance controls into engineering workflows
• Improve observability using OpenTelemetry and related monitoring practices
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design CI/CD solutions aligned with platform standards
• Troubleshoot and support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments
• Provide operational support for platform and pipeline issues, including critical incidents
• Create technical documentation and best practices
• Partner with stakeholders on project delivery and improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• MUST BE a Bachelor's Degree holder
• MUST HAVE at least 3-4+ years of strong AWS experience
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
• Strong experience designing and supporting CI/CD platforms using Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Intermediate-level Python experience for automation and tooling
• Experience with Docker, containerization, and deployment practices
• Experience improving observability using OpenTelemetry or similar monitoring solutions
• Experience working in Kubernetes and troubleshooting containerized environments
• Experience integrating security, quality, and compliance controls into engineering workflows
• Strong troubleshooting skills supporting cloud infrastructure, platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps
• Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders on project delivery and improvement initiatives
• Practical experience using AI tools within engineering workflows

Work Arrangement:

• Set-Up: Hybrid (1-5x/month onsite reporting)
• Office Location: UP AyalaLand Technohub, Commonwealth, Quezon City | Mandurriao, Iloilo | Cebu | Davao
• Schedule: Late Mid Shift during training/onboarding (4:00PM - 12:00MN); will shift to Day Shift after training/onboarding
