Job summary

AUMOVIO Autonomous Mobility Philippines, Inc. in Laguna is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality initiatives and prevent defects from reaching production.

You will implement process controls, drive corrective actions with suppliers, and manage NCC costs through SCB or RMAs. Responsibilities include defining KPIs, deploying SQM strategies, performing SWOT analyses, and supporting audits for new products.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BS in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Computer, Materials).
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality principles.
• Experience in mechanical manufacturing environments (PCB, stamping, casting, cables, plastics, mechatronics).
• Familiar with environmental systems and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in quality tools and methods for process controls and continuous improvement.
• Experience with problem-solving methods (8D, A3).
• Ability to handle new materials/components introductions.
• Basic knowledge of product validation and material analysis testing.
• Strong communication with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Implement robust process controls in managing Suppliers to prevent defects entering the shopfloor to achieve profit targets.
• Drive and coordinate with Suppliers to analyze material issues and implement preventive actions to reduce costs.
• Support the consolidation of supplier related NCC through SCB or cost deduction via RMA.
• Define focus areas, measurables, targets and identify projects impacting SQM KPI's.
• Deploy SQM Quality strategy to all interested parties.
• Perform SWOT analysis on SQM processes for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with SQM CI for handover of projects from NPI to Series Production.
• Support supplier audits for new business/product/technology when required.
• Execute supplier management activities to track quality deviations with zero tolerance for defects.
• Lead root cause analysis and enforce countermeasures to ensure parts meet quality requirements.

MAIN TASKS

• Implement robust process controls in managing Suppliers to prevent defects from entering the shopfloor (scrap, NCC, blocked stocks) to achieve the profit target.-
• Drives and coordinates with Suppliers to analyze material issues and implement preventive actions to reduce / eliminate SCB / cost deductions
• Supports in the consolidation / coordination of the supplier related Non conformance Cost (NCC) thru SCB process or cost deduction thru RMA
• Define key focus areas, measurables, targets and identify projects that will impact the achievement of SQM KPI's
• Deploys agreed SQM Quality strategy to all interested parties
• Perform regular SWOT analysis on SQM processes to enable focus on areas for sustenance (ie. strength) and improvement (weakness)
• Works w/ SQM CI for successful handover of projects from New product introduction to Series Production
• Supports supplier audit for New business/product/technology when
• Executes the consequent supplier management activities to track any quality deviations (zero tolerance for defects)
• Drives root cause analysis and enforce the definition and implementation of appropriate counter measures at the supplier to ensure that the parts and services meet the defined quality requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A graduate in Bachelor Science of Engineering: Electrical, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Computer, Materials
• Knowledgeable in automotive QMS (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3), international industry standards and local & corporate QMS
• Knowledgeable in Quality Management System
• Working experience in any Mechanical Manufacturing industry (i.e. PCB, Stamping, Casting, Cable, Plastic Mechatronics, Rubber)
• With overview on Environmental systems, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Knowledgeable on Quality Tools and methods for process controls & continuous improvement
• With experience on on problem solving tools (8D, A3)
• With Knowledge, competency and capability to handle New materials / component introduction
• Basic knowledge on product validation and material analysis testing
• Capable in handling and communicating with Suppliers and customers
