Job summary

AMCS Group is seeking a Software Support Engineer with hands-on SQL experience to join our Global Customer Support Team. You’ll investigate application issues, query databases to understand system behavior, and translate findings into clear customer solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, detailed diagnostics, and direct customer interaction within a fast-paced SaaS environment. You’ll work to deliver exceptional service and ongoing product value.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to operate independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; ability to ask questions to get to the bottom of issues.
• Ability to tailor communication to different audiences (e.g., SuperUser, IT, C-Level).
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good understanding of Cloud Computing (Azure) or other SaaS software support.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams (Calls and Support portal cases).
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and SQL data querying ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line support to customers for incidents/requests and ensure adherence to AMCS Quality standards and KPI’s.
• Address and resolve incoming application questions and incidents from end users.
• Document end user information and support case data in our CRM database.
• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring system issues.
• Record, track, and document the problem-solving process.
• Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure resolution.
• Manage client issue calls and provide status updates across multiple issues.
