Shopee is seeking a Mechanical Engineering leader to supervise cross-functional teams across vendors, engineering and construction for Shopee Express facilities. You will design mechanical systems, review engineering changes, and drive preventive maintenance and training programs.

Key responsibilities include coordinating construction and commissioning, overseeing maintenance schedules, and generating system documentation to enhance safety and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in similar industries, partly international.
• Knowledge of local and international mechanical regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Aufgaben

• Supervise vendor, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance for Shopee Express facilities.
• Oversee design of mechanical systems for projects including auto sorting machines and warehouse facilities.
• Review and critique proposed engineering changes and documents from internal and external parties.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs, training, scheduling, inventory, and efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate construction and commissioning with vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage maintenance procedures, work orders, and resource utilization.

• Supervise engineers and technicians to achieve project goals.
• Control projects on basis of cost, timeline, and quality.

Job Description:

• Supervise Vendor, engineering team, procurement,construction, installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance for Shopee Express facilities
• Responsible for all aspects concerning the design of mechanical systems of the project e.g. auto sorting machines, warehouse facilities mechanical, fire protection and plumbing
• Review and critique proposed changes to engineering standards, policies or details.
• Review and evaluation of company and third party engineering documents, like drawings, diagrams, blueprints, schematics and other technical drawings etc.
• Provides counsel and leadership in establishing and refining preventive maintenance programs, employee training programs, manpower scheduling techniques, parts room inventory, efficiency improvement programs, regulatory compliance programs, etc.
• Coordinate and supervise construction and commissioning activities of vendors and mechanical construction/installation sub-contractors.
• Oversees maintenance procedures, schedules, work orders, and makes tactical decisions to optimize utilization of resources in alignment with equipment availability and plant priorities
• Generate system change documentation to increase operating efficiency, performance, safety, and reliability.
• Supervise engineers and technicians in responsibility to accomplish their job in the most effective way.
• Manage and control projects including, but not limited to, engineering and operations on the basis of cost, timeline and quality.

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in similar industries, at least partly in an international setting
• Knowledge of local and international legal regulations regarding mechanical issues.
• Proficiency in engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (e.g. AutoCAD, Solidworks)
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, good analytical and problem solving capabilities, self-motivated, team player and strong communicator
• Agile, flexible, able to work under pressure and highly-dynamic environment
