Shopee is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to develop maintenance schedules for sorting machines, analyze performance data, and prioritize tasks to minimize downtime.
You will ensure safety compliance, coordinate with production, monitor spare parts, and perform regular inspections and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and software systems. This role requires 5+ years PLC experience and an associate degree in a relevant field.
The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans for sorting machines.
Analyze machine performance data to identify areas for improvement and prioritize maintenance tasks.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Implement and promote best practices for safe operation and maintenance of sorting machines.
Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruptions.
Ensure availability of necessary parts, tools, and resources for maintenance tasks.
Overseeing Withdrawal of tools and spareparts.
Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of sorting machines to identify potential issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software problems.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine performance. Prepare reports on maintenance issues, downtime, and corrective actions taken.
Analyze maintenance processes and suggest improvements to enhance machine reliability and performance.
Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and maintenance techniques.
Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Minimum [5] years of experience working with PLC systems in an industrial setting.
Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text).
Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Amenable to work in Bustos Bulacan
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
