About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior TIBCO Middleware Administrator with strong expertise in TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Administrator, Rendezvous, and TIBCO Hawk. The role focuses on managing mission-critical enterprise middleware environments, providing L2/L3 support, troubleshooting production issues, supporting deployments, and maintaining highly available integration platforms.

Job Description

The role involves administration and operational support of large-scale TIBCO BusinessWorks and EMS environments, including application deployments, messaging services, monitoring, configuration management, upgrades, performance tuning, and high-availability operations. The candidate will support approximately 100 BW applications across multiple environments and ensure reliable middleware services.

The position requires hands-on experience with production incident management, root cause analysis, major incident and problem management, on-call support, and critical production changes. The candidate will also develop operational automation using scripting and AppManage CLI, maintain runbooks and SOPs, and support CI/CD and infrastructure automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x, including BW 5.16.1.
• Manage BW application deployment and lifecycle using TIBCO Administrator and AppManage.
• Deploy, start, stop, upgrade, and troubleshoot BW EAR files across environments.
• Monitor BW engines, process instances, thread utilization, application health, and logs.
• Administer TIBCO EMS 10.x, including Fault Tolerant Active/Standby configurations.
• Manage EMS queues, topics, bridges, routes, connection factories, users, and groups.
• Configure EMS security using JAAS, LDAP, and Active Directory integrations.
• Perform EMS failover testing, compaction, upgrades, health checks, performance tuning, and datastore monitoring.
• Configure and troubleshoot TIBCO Rendezvous (RVD) services and transport connectivity.
• Configure and maintain TIBCO Hawk Agents, Domains, microagents, and monitoring rulebases.
• Monitor middleware environments using GEMS or equivalent tools, including queue depth, topic subscribers, bridges, routes, and EMS FT status.
• Resolve production incidents within SLA commitments and participate in Major Incident and Problem Management.
• Perform RCA and implement corrective actions for middleware failures.
• Develop scripts for deployment, monitoring, housekeeping, and operational automation.
• Create and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and support documentation.
• Support on-call rotations, critical production changes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation initiatives.
