Job summary

Ampleon's EHS team in Cabuyao, Philippines is seeking a Specialist, EHS to support environmental sustainability and resilience across the business operations. You will serve as the Pollution Control Officer and health and safety practitioner, implementing procedures for chemical and waste management and promoting employee well-being through ergonomics and industrial hygiene activities.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Environmental, Health, or Safety-related degree.
• 2–5 years of relevant EHS experience.
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge is preferred.
• Emergency preparedness knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pollution Control Officer and Health and Safety Practitioner.
• Focal person for the Environment, Health and Safety specializing in environmental sustainability and resilience of the company.
• Implement the EHS Procedures for environmental protection, covering chemical and waste management.
• Responsible for implementing programs to ensure the health and safety of employees, particularly focused on ergonomics, industrial hygiene and improvement of the work environment.

You are going to be part of the EHS team of Ampleon:

The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team of Ampleon is based in Cabuyao, Philippines. You are going to be part of the team in Philippines where technologies and development engineering projects are coming together. The Philippines team is an experienced team with engaged and passionate people. This position reports to the Director, Facilities-EHS.

A look into the life of the Specialist, EHS at Ampleon:

• You will serve as the Pollution Control Officer and Health and Safety Practitioner.
• You will be the focal person for the Environment, Health and Safety specializing in the environmental sustainability and resilience of the company.
• Implement the EHS Procedures for environmental protection, covering chemical and waste management.
• Will also be responsible in implementing programs to ensure the health and safety of employees, particularly focused on ergonomics, industrial hygiene and improvement of the work environment.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone who has the following background and capabilities:

• Graduate of BS in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Environmental, Health, or Safety-related course or other fields.
• With 2-5 years of relevant experience in Environment, Health and Safety.
• Knowledge in Emergency preparedness is an advantage.
• Strong background in pollution control prevention, health and safety programs and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
