Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology major in Drafting Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in design, applications, or a related engineering role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and design principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Can work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Highly detail-oriented, innovative, and adaptable to project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine parts, assemblies, and metal fabricated products based on customer requirements and engineering principles.
• Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
• Provide technical support for quotations, feasibility studies, and process improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and optimize material selection, tolerances, and fabrication techniques to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
• Participate in design reviews, prototype development, and testing.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.
