Job summary

foodpanda in Manila is seeking a Supply Planner to develop weekly replenishment plans at the supplier level based on inventory metrics, sell-out, and forecast. You will participate in S&OP discussions and craft supply plans from demand forecasts to ensure availability across DCs and stores.

The role requires 1–2 years of planning experience, strong data skills with Excel/Sheets, and a detail-oriented mindset to optimize inventory and balance across warehouses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or related specialization.
• 1-2 years work experience in demand or supply planning.
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus.
• Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus.
• Analytical mind with ability to work with large data, detail oriented.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets for data processing.
• Autonomous in a demanding and ambiguous environment with strong organizational skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level based on inventory parameters, actual sell-out, and planned forecast.
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings.
• Calculate a proper supply plan based on generated demand forecast.
• Prepare and update monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports based on actuals.
• Maintain healthy inventory in DC and store based on target days cover.
• Work with demand planning specialist to drive adjustments on plan.
• Monitor supplier issues and elevate as necessary to ensure availability.
• Identify slow-moving SKUs and flag to stakeholders to drive action.
• Identify SKUs with inventory with no-movement for the past 28 days.
• Work with inventory controller on identifying stocks for balancing across warehouses.
• Own the category group by being on-top of issues related to overall S&OP especially in ordering and availability.
• Be able to work cross-functionally to assist in projects, drive action, or resolve issues.
• Other tasks that may be relevant to the function.

What you need to be successful

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or any relatable specialization
• Between 1-2 years work-related experience in demand or supply planning
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus
• Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus
• Analytical mind and business acumen with ability to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends and to form conclusions based on findings. Must be extremely detail oriented
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable with processing information using excel and/or google sheets
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Has a continuous improvement mindset
