Job summary

foodpanda is part of the Delivery Hero Group, a global leader in local delivery. We are seeking a Supply Planning lead to drive weekly replenishment, S&OP processes, and detailed inventory management across the Asia Pacific region.

You will work with demand planning specialists to optimize stock levels and ensure availability in distribution centers and stores. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in demand/supply planning, strong Excel skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of work experience in demand or supply planning.
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus.
• Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus.
• Strong analytical mind and business acumen with ability to work with large data to find patterns and draw conclusions.
• Highly detail-oriented and meticulous.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly replenishment planning at supplier level based on inventory, sell-out, and forecast.
• Lead and facilitate S&OP forecast meetings.
• Oversee supply plans based on demand forecasts.
• Prepare and update monthly/weekly supply planning files and KPI reports.
• Maintain healthy inventory in DCs and stores based on target days cover.
• Mentor demand planning specialists and drive plan adjustments.
• Monitor supplier issues and escalate to ensure availability.
• Identify slow-moving SKUs and flag for action.
• Identify SKUs with no movement in 28+ days.
• Collaborate with inventory controllers for cross-warehouse balancing.
• Own the category group in S&OP and ordering/availability.
• Lead cross-functional projects and regional (Asia Pacific) collaboration.

Job Description

• Lead the creation of weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level based on inventory parameters, actual sell-out, and planned forecast.
• Lead and facilitate S&OP forecast meetings.
• Oversee the calculation of proper supply plans based on generated demand forecasts.
• Review, prepare, and update monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports based on actuals.
• Ensure the maintenance of healthy inventory in distribution centers and stores based on target days cover.
• Manage, mentor, and closely work with demand planning specialists to drive adjustments on the plan.
• Monitor supplier issues and manage escalations as necessary to ensure availability.
• Oversee the identification of slow-moving SKUs and flag them to stakeholders to drive strategic action.
• Oversee the identification of SKUs with inventory showing no-movement for the past 28 days.
• Collaborate with inventory controllers on identifying stocks for balancing across warehouses.
• Take full ownership of the category group by being on top of issues related to overall S&OP, especially in ordering and availability.
• Lead cross-functional teams to assist in projects, drive strategic actions, or resolve complex issues.
• Working cross-market in the Asia Pacific region

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or any relatable specialization.
• At least 3 years of work-related experience in demand or supply planning.
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus.
• Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus.
• Strong analytical mind and business acumen with the ability to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends, and to form strategic conclusions based on findings.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Highly comfortable with processing information using Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work and lead autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Has a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to instill this in a team.
