About the Role
Another Home To Grow Academy, Inc. is looking for dedicated teachers to join our team. We provide a nurturing environment where children from Nursery to Grade 4 are supported through inclusive, classroom-based instruction.
In this role, you will be the primary facilitator of learning, ensuring that every child receives the individualized support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Scope of Work
Direct Classroom Teaching: Lead daily instructional activities for diverse learners, ensuring lessons are engaging and adapted for Kinder to Grade 4 levels.
IEP Development: Design and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), setting measurable goals and tracking student progress throughout the school year.
Instructional Adaptation: Differentiate the curriculum to provide multiple avenues for student engagement, representation, and expression.
Manifestation Tracking: Observe and document student behaviors and classroom manifestations to refine teaching strategies and provide data-based feedback.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with school leadership and fellow educators to align classroom activities with our school's inclusive mission.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (SPED) preferred; graduates in Education or Psychology are also welcome to apply.
Licensure: PRC / LPT License preferred (or willingness to obtain licensure within the first year of employment).
Experience: Candidates with years of relevant experience are highly preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Core Skills:
Basic knowledge of writing functional IEPs and progress reports.
Understanding of the Philippine inclusive education context (RA 11650).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
