Job summary

Moniepoint is seeking a Head of Engineering, POS Supply Chain in Spain. You will lead a ~25 engineering team responsible for inventory, logistics, and repair software, driving platform-centric solutions and data integrity across millions of devices in multiple markets.

The role requires deep hands-on Java experience, strong leadership of managers, and a product-minded approach to scaling operations in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading engineering teams
• 5+ years hands-on production Java coding experience
• At least 5 years managing managers and large engineering teams
• Deep hands-on experience in supply chain, inventory, warehouse or logistics software at scale
• Fintech or regulated industry experience with device management in payments

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics tools and repair management software
• Lead an engineering organisation of ~25 engineers including managers, QA, SRE and Data Engineering
• Drive platformisation of inventory and supply chain systems for global visibility and data integrity
• Bridge operational practice and software systems with disciplined, scalable solutions
• Define architecture standards, processes and quality metrics across squads
• Collaborate with business and operational stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering solutions
• Hire, mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers to grow the team to 30+
