GENERIKA Drugstore is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist in the Philippines to support new product introductions by coordinating category-aligned activities and supplier insights.

Responsibilities include end-to-end sourcing, data-driven supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to drive savings and supply continuity. A Bachelor's in pharmacy or related field with 2+ years in sourcing/procurement is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy or any Business Administration, Management or related field.
• At least 2 years relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and or supply chain function.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and proficiency with other MS Office products is required.

Responsibilities

• Works with Sourcing Management teams to perform strategic sourcing activities.
• Evaluates suppliers and supply markets based on data to provide insight to Sourcing Management teams.
• Provides process and transaction support.
• Identifies potential vendors and obtains quotes as needed.
• Gathers and analyzes industry, market, and spend data.
• Conducts financial analysis of comparative bids.
• Collaborates with Finance to calculate savings against budget and forecast.
• Interviews internal stakeholders to develop service level agreements.
• Collects data and prepares monthly sourcing reports.
• Prepares contract documents and ensures proper filing and tracking.
• Develops strong working relationships with team members and business partners.

JOB PURPOSE

To support the development and execution of new product introductions within the assigned category by coordinating activities that align with category objectives and gathering insights on emerging innovations. The role contributes to building effective supplier relationships to help drive sales growth, improve profitability, ensure supply continuity, and support supplier compliance.

The Sr. Sourcing Specialist is responsible for providing supplier relationship management, end to end supply chain support, and cross-functional operational improvements. Leverage fact-based data and analytics to negotiate contracts in acquiring of pharmaceutical products. Create strategies and influence internal and external stakeholders to execute effectively.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works closely with Sourcing Management teams to perform strategic sourcing activities.
• Evaluates suppliers and supply markets based on facts and data to provide deep and meaningful insight to Sourcing Management teams.
• Provides process and transaction support.
• Identifies potential vendors and obtain quotes as needed.
• Assists in gathering and analyzing industry, market, and spend data.
• Conducts accurate financial analysis of comparative bids.
• Works with Finance to calculate savings against budget and forecast.
• Interviews internal stakeholders to develop service level agreements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
