Job summary

Thakral One is seeking a Solutions Designer – Architect to design scalable and effective technology solutions aligned with platform architecture, business objectives, and product requirements. You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solution designs for successful delivery and long-term operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience, specifically in business intelligence and analytics applications.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages or applications commonly used in big data solutions.
• Experience with big data or streaming data tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Philippine Data Privacy Law is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create solution plans based on platform architecture and high-level designs established during feasibility and ideation.
• Partner with product owners and development teams to design and refine solutions that support product increment delivery.
• Ensure creation of Minimum Viable Products using documented design patterns and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with development teams and product owners to clarify user requirements and ensure solution coverage.
• Review and validate developed solutions with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives.
• Consult with SMEs, Network Support, and Security Support teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Work with Platform Engineers, System Administrators, and DBAs to support environment setup throughout delivery.
• Support business and technical readiness activities and facilitate transition to operations teams.
• Collaborate with Development and Service Management teams to monitor and address production issues.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

Solution Design & Delivery

• Create solution plans based on platform architecture and high‑level designs established during feasibility and ideation.
• Partner with product owners and development teams to design and refine solutions that support product increment delivery.
• Ensure creation of Minimum Viable Products using documented design patterns and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with development teams and product owners to clarify user requirements and ensure solution coverage.
• Review and validate developed solutions with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives.
• Consult with SMEs, Network Support, and Security Support teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Deliverables

• Produce Solution Plans, Technical Design Implementations, Detailed System Mockups, and Wireframes.
• Develop System Workflow, Sequence, and Activity Diagrams.
• Define and document Non‑Functional Requirements, including performance metrics.
• Prepare Program Specifications for complex components, including pseudocode and simulation artefacts.

KPIs

• Deliver flexible and adaptable solutions.
• Ensure alignment between solution designs and technical architecture standards.
• Meet defined non‑functional requirements.
• Identify potential technical design risks and assumptions early.

Experience

• You have 5+ years of IT experience, specifically in business intelligence and analytics applications.
• You have hands‑on experience with programming languages or applications commonly used in big data solutions.
• You may have experience with big data or streaming data tools (advantage).

Technical Expertise

• You have a deep understanding of traditional data warehousing, business intelligence, and data management concepts.
• You are familiar with the Philippine Data Privacy Law (advantage).
