Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 8+ years in software development, systems integration, or IT delivery.
• 2-3 years hands-on as a Solutions Architect or similar.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale applications and technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Payments exp preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications and strategic technology initiatives.
• Develop current-state, transition-state, and target-state architecture for projects.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Recommend appropriate technologies and architectural approaches based on business and technical requirements.
• Ensure all solution designs comply with enterprise architecture principles, standards, security guidelines, and non-functional requirements.
• Develop reusable solution patterns and architecture standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand capabilities and solution requirements.
• Identify solution gaps, technical debt, and modernization opportunities.
• Provide architecture guidance throughout the SDLC and review designs for alignment.
• Support Agile delivery teams during design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Present solution architectures to governance and approval boards.
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks and issues.
• Lead definition of non-functional requirements including scalability, availability, security, resilience, maintainability, and performance.
• Ensure implemented solutions align with approved architecture and design standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where applicable.
• Produce architecture documentation using standard templates and best practices.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Technical Leads, Infrastructure and Security Architects, Delivery Managers, and Project Managers.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end technology solutions that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, development teams, infrastructure teams, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise architecture, application development, cloud technologies, system integration, infrastructure, and solution design across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications and strategic technology initiatives.

• Support Agile delivery teams during design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Share architectural knowledge and best practices across engineering teams.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture practices.
• Continuously improve architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and solution patterns.
• Promote innovation while maintaining governance and technology standards.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, systems integration, application architecture, or IT solution delivery.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect or in an equivalent architecture role.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale applications and technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience supporting project teams through architecture governance and solution delivery.
• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Payments is preferred but not mandatory.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of enterprise solution architecture principles.
• Experience with application development methodologies and architecture frameworks.
• Good understanding of:
