Job summary

Globe Telecom in the Philippines is seeking a senior technology and business solutions architect to partner with business units and IT teams, shaping strategy and delivering value.

You will lead process design, develop functional roadmaps, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and API-enabled across CRM, OSS/BSS, ERP, and billing platforms.

This role requires 7–10 years of experience in technology/product-oriented business solutions and an MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience designing, implementing and leading technology/product-oriented business solutions.
• Experience in Information Technology/Telecommunication Industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• MBA certification preferred.

• Partner with Platform Solutions Domain Head to build partnerships and deliver business solutions.
• Collaborate with business units, service units, and IT to envision technology-enabled solutions with process design focus.

DUTIES & AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for working with the Paltform Solutions Domain Head to build and support a strong partnership with the business units, and deliver value by helping to develop effective business solutions that solve business challenges.

• Partner with the business and service units and with Information Technology teams to understand business goals and needs, and to identify and envision technology-enabled business solutions, with a strong focus on business process design.

• Support assigned projects by developing and documenting functional roadmaps, and working closely with other IT groups to infuse technology vision and strategies into business thinking and planning

• Support the development and management of strategic technology platforms and capabilities, including continuous alignment against business needs.

Client Focus and Communications:

• Work with the business owners and technology teams, understand and analyze business needs and work, identify opportunities and issues, build consensus, and respond effectively.

• Build strong relationships with the business as well as with the IT groups involved in solution envisioning and execution.

Solutions Development and Business Process Design:

• Bring business and technology together, early in projects, to support the development of high-level solution options and approaches.

• Work closely with both business units and IT development groups to ensure that solutions are aligned, integrated, and creative.

Planning:

• Help support the rigorous and consistent development of documented business needs and functional roadmaps

• Identify and define product and service opportunities and enhancements for assigned services and prepare business cases to support such initiatives.

Documentation:

• Develop required documentation for projects, including executive presentations, business cases, project vision documents, options and approach analyses, business requirements, business process flows, and data process flows.

Project Implementation:

• When assigned, lead business unit, vendor, and technology teams to identify and manage change agendas, prioritize work, and develop implementation plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 7-10 years of progressive work experience in designing, implementing and leading successful technology/product-oriented business solutions focused on optimizing business value and process, and business applications and platforms; Management Consulting, BPR, or equivalent

• Information Technology/Telecommunication Industry experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field

• MBA certification preferred

• No required membership in a professional organization (if any)
