Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years in IT architecture, systems design, or solutions engineering, with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to design enterprise-level solutions across infrastructure, cloud, apps, and integration.
• Strong cloud knowledge across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and migration strategies.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, microservices, and API-driven design.
• Security architecture and data governance expertise is required.

This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to design and implement comprehensive technology solutions whilst providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and technical staff. As a Solutions Architect at supervisor level, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that our solutions align with organizational strategy, scalability needs, and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise-level technology solutions that address complex business requirements and align with organizational objectives

• Conduct thorough analysis of client needs and technical environments to develop comprehensive solution proposals and architectural frameworks

• Provide technical leadership and oversight of solution implementation across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and quality benchmarks

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and technical teams, to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures

• Review and validate technical designs created by junior architects, providing constructive feedback and mentoring on best practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT architecture, systems design, or solutions engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity

• Proven expertise in designing enterprise-level solutions across infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, and integration technologies

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), including migration strategies and hybrid cloud implementations

• Demonstrated experience with enterprise integration patterns, microservices architecture, and API-driven design approaches

• Excellent understanding of security architecture, data governance, and compliance frameworks relevant to enterprise systems

• Experience mentoring and supervising technical staff, fostering team development and ensuring delivery excellence

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Proficiency in creating technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and solution proposals

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects or initiatives

• Professional certifications in architecture (TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent) are highly desirable

• Background in specific industries such as finance, healthcare, telecommunications, or e-commerce is advantageous
