Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in Solution Architecture and enterprise architecture leadership.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, cloud platforms, and security requirements.
• Experience with regulated industries (banking/financial services) is an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Position Title: Solutions Architect

About The Role

The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and governing technology solutions that align with the bank's business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and digital transformation initiatives. This role serves as the bridge between business and technology teams, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable solution designs. The incumbent provides architectural leadership across multiple projects, ensuring that applications, systems, and infrastructure support current and future business needs. The role also drives technology standardization, innovation, and governance while promoting compliance with banking regulations, risk management requirements, and information security standards.

What You'll Do

• Design end-to-end solution architectures that align with enterprise strategy, business capabilities, and technology standards.
• Lead architectural design and implementation across multiple business applications, platforms, and technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, application architects, and infrastructure teams to define solution requirements and technical roadmaps.
• Review and evaluate technology solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Provide architectural guidance and consulting support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, design patterns, frameworks, and governance processes.
• Assess emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor developments to identify innovation opportunities for the organization.
• Analyze business and technology environments to identify gaps, risks, and areas for process or system improvement.
• Facilitate the evaluation, selection, and implementation of software products, platforms, and technology services.
• Ensure architecture compliance through design reviews, governance activities, and solution assurance processes.
• Develop technology roadmaps that support the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio and digital banking capabilities.
• Assess the operational, financial, and organizational impact of proposed solutions and recommend appropriate actions.
• Prepare and maintain architecture documentation, technical designs, and decision records.
• Partner with PMO and project teams to ensure solution delivery aligns with approved architectural designs and business commitments.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Systems Design, or related technology leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, cloud platforms, integration frameworks, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software development methodologies.
• Experience leading complex technology transformation projects within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with banking systems, information security principles, data privacy requirements, technology governance, and regulatory compliance standards is preferred.
