Job summary
Nexus Recruitment Group seeks a seasoned Solutions Architect to design scalable, secure solutions for enterprise systems in a digital banking or financial services environment. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in software development, systems design, or solution architecture, with at least 3 years in an architectural role.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture, and API lifecycle management.
- Experience designing scalable systems in financial services, banking, or high-volume transactional environments.
- Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and documentation standards (e.g., UML, ArchiMate, C4).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
- Familiarity with security architecture, identity and access management, and data protection principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, Azure Architect) are an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical solutions that meet business, security, and compliance requirements across digital platforms.
- Lead architectural decisions for application modernization, system integration, cloud migration, and new product development.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and infrastructure teams to define system requirements and implementation plans.
- Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, technical documentation, and integration diagrams.
- Recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks aligned with long-term scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and governance frameworks.
- Guide development teams during implementation to ensure alignment with the proposed architecture.
- Evaluate existing systems for improvement opportunities and technical debt remediation.
