Job summary

Questronix Corporation is seeking a Solutions Architect to join the CTO organization as an individual contributor. You will research, design and implement technology solutions to address business problems and collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers and technology teams to drive architectural changes.

Key responsibilities include promoting enterprise guardrails across business units and ensuring alignment with banking and financial services requirements, regulations, and cloud/hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; advanced degree highly desirable.
• Typically 8–10 years in solution architecture with at least 5 years in banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Experience with multiple architecture methodologies and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman).

Solutions Architect

The Solution Architect is an individual contributor within the CTO organization. The Solutions Architect will be a versatile and motivated technologist who has a broad understanding of business problems and solutions. She/He will work closely with business stakeholders, technology suppliers and technology teams to research, design and implement technology solutions, identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modifications. She/He is also responsible for helping to drive the adaption and implementation of SBC's enterprise architecture guardrails to their associated BU.

Qualifications:

• Years of experience: Typically 8-10 years of experience in solution architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role in the banking or financial services industry
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree in a related field is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
• Experience with multiple architecture methodologies and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of banking and financial services industry, including regulations and compliance requirements
• Understanding of key technologies and trends in the industry, including digital, cloud, and security
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and agile development practices.
